Your sales files stay on your device
The CSV files you import are read by your browser and never uploaded to us or anyone else. Buyer columns (names, addresses and similar) are dropped when the columns are matched and are never shown or kept.
What is stored, and where
- Costs you enter (Pro): saved in your browser’s local storage on this device so next month’s import fills them in. A cost backup file holds listing IDs and cost numbers only. Clearing your browser data removes them.
- Your license key (Pro): saved in your browser so you don’t have to paste it on every visit. “Forget the key on this device” removes it.
What is sent over the internet
- To turn on Pro, your browser sends your license key, our Polar organization ID and a device label such as “Chrome on Windows” to Polar’s license service (api.polar.sh). Nothing from your sales files or costs is sent.
- When you buy Pro, Polar processes your name, email and payment details as the merchant of record under its own privacy policy.
- Our web host may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and protect the site.

Questions or deletion requests
Email omycom@nate.com. We only hold what you send us by email and what Polar shares with us about your purchase (for example your email and order), and we’ll delete what we can on request, except records we must keep by law.
